Alternatively titled: Sleeping Beauty Goes Into Coma
This past couple of weeks, or since school started I should say, but especially the last few weeks have done horror to my sleep schedule. But it was never that great to begin with since I’m an occasional insomniac. Generally I’m fine with 4-6 hours of sleep, although 7 is ideal. And if necessary I can survive with no sleep for about two days.
But then my body does this thing in which it basically shuts off my brain and goes into hibernation on its own. Like my body puts on Donald’s Trump’s taupe and with eyes squinted and a swift hand motion says “YOU’RE FIRED” then takes matters into it’s own hands. When that happens, no matter how hard I try or force myself, I will be knocked out for several hours.
I mean, this is at a point in which you could drain out my blood and circulate caffeine throughout my system and it wouldn’t do anything for me.
This morning I appreciate that my husband, Sa’ad, took Aiman downstairs to let me have the WHOLE bed to myself, free to stretch and spread out to my heart’s content. I appreciate that he turned off the alarm so that it didn’t wake me and then had my things ready so that I wouldn’t be in such a rush and forget something when I was ready to leave.
This isn’t the first time he’s done this sort of thing for me, but it certainly never gets old.
It really set me up for a good day and for that I love him and thank him.

I need to tell my boyfriend about this so that he “gets ideas” and takes lessons.
I love your little family by the way!
Thanks!
AWH! HOW SWEET!
Well he’s a sweetheart
…for the most part. lol.
Ooohh man, I love love love when Sean does this. Aaaah, stretching out in bed and not worrying about disturbing a little one….sooo nice.
5 points for Sa’ad!
Oh so you TOTALLY know what I’m talking about then. It’s just awesome all around =]
