I was cleaning out some boxes when I came across this picture.
Do you know what that is?
It’s a portrait of me and Sa’ad after we got married, drawn by my youngest sister.
Although it was drawn by the hands of a then highly skilled 5 year old, there are some fabrications that suggest she has no idea what I look like. Even though I’m, you know, HER SISTER.
For instance, I do not and have never had blonde hair. Also I’m not taller than my husband, who is not bald.
But you say potato, I say patato, so eh, close enough. I guess.
But I do appreciate the obvious love between us -literally.
Oooooooh, I love it. I can’t wait until Jasper is old enough to draw pictures!
This is really nice. I really absolutely adore it.
Oh! And Jasper is going to be Harry Potter! We’re going to be James and Lily Potter, so it’s easy to do. I think he’ll have a lightning bolt scar and everything, which technically means we’d have to be the ghosts of James and Lily, but that’s morbid so I don’t want to. We’ll all be alive.
I think Harry Potter and his parents is so appropriate for you guys =)

You know, a family themed costume sounds really nice. Like Harry, Lily, James.
I’d say this is a pretty accurate depiction.
If accurrate means “not so accurate”, then yes, I would say so too.

Since I now know your husband’s name is Saad, I have to tell you that my boyfriend had a professor at universality named Saad. When he typed his name in Word the spell checker suggested Salad. We all [including Saad himself] thought it was hilarious.
