100 Things You Didn’t Ask About, Part 2

This is the second part of that list, remember?

Travel:

51. I’ve been to Washington, California, Maryland, Washington D.C., and all of the major cities within Texas.

52. The only countries I’ve ever been to outside of the U.S. are Ethiopia and Egypt.

53. I almost enrolled in this 2 month long living abroad program in which I would’ve lived in Spain, Italy, and Greece for the two months.

54. The program turned out to be some scam.

55. I almost paid for it too.

56. My ultimate dream is to travel the world and live in a different country every couple of months to years.

Family:

57. I have 6 siblings, two brothers, and four sisters.

58. My dad spent the majority of his family life greatly outnumbered by estrogen.

59. My husband and I married each other at a really young age.

60. That was four years ago.

61. We have a son, Aiman.

62. Although I grew up with plenty of siblings, my husband was the only child.

63. He has something I like to call “the only child syndrome”

64. Anyone who knows someone who’s the only child  knows what I’m talking about. mm hmm.

65. Although not so much on this blog, I refer to my husband as my “big love” and my son as my “little love”.

66. They’re both my most beloved.

“Career”:

67. “Career” is in quotations because I have no idea what career I want to have.

68.  I’m interested in so many things, but don’t know what I have a real passion for to make a living out of.

69. I don’t want to talk about this anymore. Ha. Ha Ha.

Aspirations:

70. Make a meaningful and positive change.

71. Ideally if I could do that with my career, that would be fantastic.

72. I wanted to become a doctor and work with the Doctors Without Borders organization.

73. Or open a hospital in a country or region that really needs it.

74. Perhaps I can still do that sort of thing.

75. Here’s a wonderfully generic one: Be the best mother I can be.

76. But I feel that #75 is a good one because this motherhood thing takes (and gives) a lot out of a woman.

General Likes:

77. A really good cup of coffee.

78. The smell of laundry detergent.

79. When people are happy.

80. When I make someone feel better or smile.

81. La Madeline’s Fresh Fruit Tart.

82. Putting on perfume after a shower and/or  before going to bed.

83. Baby animals. Most animals, actually, but especially baby animals.

General Dislikes:

84. Crying, whether it’s me or someone else, but sometimes it just feels so much better to do so.

85. Insects, and God help me, especially roaches. This is more of  ”HATE-with-every-atom-of-my-being-why-are-they-even-created-SOMEBODY-KILL-IT-RIGHT-NOW!!!!” sort of phobia.

86. Finding out I have a test tomorrow because I haven’t looked at my class syllabus in weeks. Damn.

87. Abuse in any form -physical, emotional, mental, verbal etc.

88. Sherbet ice cream.

Random:

90. Working out feels so reviving.

91. I never refuse a massage.

93. I hate the Disney Channel.

94. I wish I could fly as freely as the birds.

Currently Thinking:

95. Wondering what to have for dinner.

96. I’m glad to have this list over with.

97. I should put this in my “About” page.

98. Yes, I think I’ll do just that.

99. Second to last one, I should make this a good one -go out with a bang.

100. Hmmmm. Nope, nothing, but how can you not be sick of this by now!?

I like part2 better. it’s weird how i was reading this list and thinking….’me too!’ so part of this list applies to me, and i will be egotistical too and talk about myself, even though “you didn’t ask about” it.. :)

56: I would love to live in a different country every year. I dont know how that would work out though, but its fun to fantasize about.
67-68-69: AND everything under the career section <– YOU KNOW what im talking about. how frustrating!!! lol
72 (when i was pre-med, <– seems like forever ago)
77: craving a caramel frap right now
    86
90: though i havent worked out in about a week… i feel so lazyyy

ultimately after retirement and our kids are independent with their own lives, the huz and i are going to be anywhere but in north america. we want to travel and have adventures, even in our old age!

And yes, our little “career planning” lunch was insightful enough to leave me even more sure of how confused I am.

generally i hate starbucks, lol. their coffee sucks and is never hot or even tasty. oh and overpriced. THERE I SAID IT! now the starbucks fanatics (including my husband) will tie me to the post and beat me.

einstein’s bros coffee and everything they offer is a bazillion times better with reasonable prices.

now look, you’ve made me go off on my starbucks vs einsteins bro rant….

  2. I like part two as well! Very, very interesting. I agree with so much of this…and I call Jazz little love. :) Sean is love, Jasper is little love.

I end up calling Sa’ad just “love” too bc “big love” doesnt have the same flow or ease or something..
